Product Information
Beachstone is made from 100% post consumer recycled glass (75% by weight) that is otherwise headed to a landfill. The seashells are pre-consumer recycled content and make up about 5% by weight of the product. Our binder is also a post-consumer product which makes up about 5% by weight of the total material. That's an incredible 85% recycled content by weight. Additionally, no VOCs are used in the manufacture of Beachstone. Future development will focus on adding a new recycled cement material which will boost the recycled content of Beachstone to 98% by weight!
Pharos Project
The Pharos Project is the most transparent certification project available to product manufacturers. Created by the Healthy Building Network. Beachstone is currently working on its certification with Pharos. Stay tuned.
